Advanced Image Module Help File Minimize

icon_GhostRiver_32px.gifAbout the Advanced Image Module

Advanced Image provides the means to display a single image or multiple images within a single module.  Images may be displayed in columns or rows.  You may set the number of images allowed in each column or row.  Images may be given titles, as well as descriptive text captions.

The size of the image displayed on the page may be set to any value, regardless of the size of the original image .  If the image is resized to a smaller value, only the resized image is delivered to the viewers browser.  This may substantially reduce the time that it takes for a page to load.  If the viewer wishes to view the original image, clicking on the image will open the original, full sized image.

By default, multiple images are displayed in alphabetical order.  An indexing field provides the means to set a custom order. A supplemental description can be set to appear either on mouseover.

A display settings page provides the means to set display properties for the module.  This may provide additional uniformity as these settings replace the settings for individual images.
